Museum and visitors' center (incarnation number one)

In July of '09 Norm Sayler bought the small building on the corner of Old 40 and Donner Pass Rd. Half of the building is the historical society's and acts as a small museum and visitors' center.

People come in for information, to look our extensive collection of old photographs (maybe eventally get copies made), buy books and pick up maps/brochures, ask questions, and get acquainted with the community.

Our ultimate goal is to build a museum/visitors' center on Donner Summit. See pictures of the opening celebration by clicking the "pictures" link or below.
