Museum and visitors' center (incarnation number one)

In July of '09 Norm Sayler bought the small building on the corner of Old 40 and Donner Pass Rd. Half of the building will be the historical society's and will act as a small museum and visitors' center. This will allow people to come in for information, to look our extensive collection of old photographs and eventally get copies made, buy books and pick up maps/brochures, ask questions, and get acquainted with the community. Our ultimate goal is to build a museum/visitors' center on Donner Summit. See pictures of the opening celebration by clicking the "pictures" link or below.
