Rhinoceros Rock

Rhinoceros Rock Sometime around 1870, Edweard Muybridge spent some time in and around Donner Summit photographing interesting outdoor scenes. I'm not sure how he found this chunk of granite, which he named Rhinoceros Rock, but I had a hell of a time locating it! In the distance is the railroad coming towards the Summit from Soda Springs.
