Dutch Flat Donner Lake Wagon Road This view of Donner Lake is from just north of Tunnel Six, and shows an old car stopped along a section of the road that was abandoned around 1913. The realignment eliminated driving through the snowshed and the risk of being hit by trains. The new route rejoined the old near the curve in the lower right.
